Join Chef Anne Tegtmeier (Fan Fare: Theme Catering) at Pairings Portland to co-host the first in a series of Educational Wine & Food Pairing PopUps.
In a walk-around format, you’ll be served 5 courses--appetizer, soup, salad, entree & dessert. Each course will feature EARTHY FOODS--herbs, wild mushrooms, root veggies, and be paired with a wine.
APPETIZER: Stuffed mushrooms
SOUP: Black lentil dal
SALAD: Beet, delicata squash and parsnip salad
MAIN: Lamb with leeks & celeriac puree (tempeh for vegetarians)
DESSERT: Miso caramel apple tarts
Jeffrey Weissler will provide storytelling and education on how to pair wine, and insight into each pairing.
This event in intended to empower your ability to pair wine & food, and reinforce the concepts taught in Pairings Portland Wine Shop & Bar's Pairings Basics Class (which will be great to do either before or after this PopUp).
