Live From Portland, it’s Thursday Night Livestream!
With COVID, people don’t get to chat with Jeff and the Pairings staff like they used to, although I recently saw Jeff name a few familiars through everyone’s masks and I was truly impressed. Still, it’s not the same. I know he, Dillon and Morgan miss many of you.
He started doing livestreams last April and at first he just rambled way too much about COVID, politics, racism and sometimes it would be a half hour before talking about wine! Yes, he does like to talk, and without more of you around, he’s a bit pent-up.
He learned fast-ish. Before too long, Dillon and Jeff had their weekly livestreams down to 45 minutes and tasting the first wine usually within the first 5. They clearly got extra excited when you purchased tasters and joined them in the livestream.
It seems like they’ve kicked up their game in 2021, and the last few have been extra cool. They’re filming from 2 locales now so you get a split screen with closeups of both of those handsome dudes. The livestream has moved to Instagram ONLY (Thursdays at 6 pm for the LIVE version, and then available on IGTV). Here’s the links to the last few!
