Meet the Author

Hi! I’m Sid. I’m a marketing chicken.

Jeff and his partner Megan found me hanging out in front of a small artsy shop in 2014 on 3rd St in McMinnville. I’m a quiet, shy type when it comes to actual talking, but if you’ve seen me in person, I’m actually very colorful. And I do like to write so here goes. 

As the Pairings Portland website has been recently updated, Jeff wanted to add a blog. He keeps talking about a blog (has for the entire six years I’ve known him). Reality is, no way he was going to get to a blog. A post, maybe. A blog, give me a break. He always has a hard time between newsletters (of which he’s now getting help, and yet does some of it himself), social media (of which he’s now getting help, and yet does some of it himself), buying wine (seems like he’s always doing that), delivering wine (he does a lot of that—thank you for all of you that have ordered :) ), doing his crazy pairings (although staffers Dillon & Morgan have become skilled in this realm), selling wine (he really does love doing that—did you know Jeff was a retailer for a long time in NY? I’ll tell you that story another day), and catching up on those sports ball blogs that he does incessantly. 

Bottom line, I volunteered to help out with telling you what he’s up to, and a bunch of other stuff through this blog. 

Right now, it’s February! How are you? Did you survive 2020 in one piece??

I have to go sit outside of the shop for a bit, but I’ll be back for more soon!
