Wine + Food Pairings Basics Online Event
Join us for the online version of a Pairings Portland favorite event!
The class will be approximately 90 minutes in length.
Sign up individually or with your partner or friends. Price is $30 per person watching and participating. Class size will vary based on how many sign up and will occur on ZOOM.
Want to learn the basics of how to pair wine and food at home?
You will discover how foods and flavors can alter your experience of the exact same wine, plus a series of tips on how to pair wine and food at home. This is an educational experience that can change the way you look at wine.
To participate you need any bottle of wine although a Pinot Noir or crisp white is recommended.
In addition there’s some prep work you have to do! Here’s what you’ll need to do to participate fully:
-Slice of lemon
-A little bit of olive oil
-A couple pieces of rock or sea salt
-Any mushrooms (preferably earthy) sautéed in olive oil
-Salad greens tossed in olive oil, salt, lemon and a dried herb of your choice
-Anything spicy—a splash of hot sauce, spicy tortilla chips
-A piece of fruit or berries
All attendees will receive a ZOOM LINK for the class. Please fill out the form and include your e-mail and phone number so we can send you a class reminder.
